Colleen Edwards, President and CEO

With 27 years of marketing experience, Colleen established PowerMark in 2005 to help clients optimize company value through effective marketing. Prior to founding this high growth company, she served as Vice President of Marketing for Foundstone, where she helped bolster awareness and revenue for the emerging security software company prior to its favorable acquisition by McAfee in 2004. Previously, she helped build Marketing from the ground up at EDI-INT leader, IPNet Solutions prior to its acquisition by Inovis in 2003. Edwards also served in key marketing leadership roles for content management leader, FileNet (now IBM), Zee Medical (a McKesson company) and communications systems giant, Fujitsu. PowerMark serves global leaders such as Symantec and CoreLogic, and small- to mid-sized enterprises targeting rapid market growth.

Colleen is a founding Board member of the San Juan Capistrano Open Space Foundation, Inc., and was a 2008 director of the Orange County Venture Group Board. She was runner-up for the 2008 OC Register Holiday Spirit Award for year-round giving and was a marketing instructor for UCI's Global Business Management and Leadership and Management Programs from 2004-2009. In 2006, she was named Best Entrepreneur in the Stevie’s Women in Business Awards and was nominated for the Orange County Business Journal’s Women in Business Awards in 2005 and 2007. Colleen is a published author and has been a featured speaker at women's, business and technology conferences. She earned her MBA from Pepperdine University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Marketing from San Diego State University.
