Colleen Edwards, President and CEO

With 20 years of marketing experience, Colleen established PowerMark in 2005 to help technology clients optimize company value through effective marketing. Prior to founding this high growth company, she served as Vice President of Marketing for Foundstone, where she helped bolster awareness and revenue for the high growth security software company prior to its favorable acquisition by McAfee in 2004. Previously, she helped build Marketing from the ground up at EDI-INT leader, IPNet Solutions (acquired by Inovis in 2003). Edwards also served in key marketing leadership roles for content management leader, FileNet (now IBM), Zee Medical (a McKesson company) and communications systems giant, Fujitsu.

Colleen serves on the 2008 Board of Orange County Venture Group and has been a marketing instructor for UCI's Global Business Management and Leadership and Management Programs since 2004. In 2006, she was named Best Entrepreneur in the Stevie’s Women in Business Awards and was nominated for the Orange County Business Journal’s Women in Business Awards in 2005 and 2007. Colleen has been the Chairman of the Public Education/Outreach Subcommittee for San Juan Capistrano’s Open Space Committee since 2006. She is a published author and has been a featured speaker at women's, business and technology conferences. She earned her MBA from Pepperdine University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Marketing from San Diego State University. Colleen is a member of NAWBO and OCVG, and active in her community and church.
